Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies with Cream Cheese Frosting
Ingredients
- ½ cup salted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup pumpkin (canned pumpkin purée, do not use pumpkin pie filling)
- 2½ cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 heaping teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 12 oz bag milk chocolate chips
Frosting
4 oz salted butter, softened
8 oz cream cheese
1 tsp vanilla
3-4 Cups powdered sugar
3-4 Tbsp milk
Cream butter, and cream cheese. Add remaining ingredients until well mixed. Mix on high for 1 minute.
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Set aside.
- Cream together the butter and sugar.
- Add the eggs. Blend until combined.
- Mix in the pumpkin.
- Slowly shake in the flour and cinnamon mixture while mixing on low.
- Stir in all of the chocolate chips.
- Use a medium cookie scoop to scoop cookie dough onto a greased cookie sheet or parchment paper lined cookie sheet.
- Bake for 13-15 minutes. Enjoy!
